The Sports Center „Pools Poljud“ is located in the northwestern part of the city of Split, right next to the Poljud City Stadium. SC Pools Poljud is situated on a spacious area of about 32,254.00 m² and with its architectural design (resembling a wave) it nicely blended into the Mediterranean landscape as well as into the functional whole. The sports content in the pools is diverse and occupies 24,645.00 m² of the total area, and there are also various halls. In front of the complex, there is a large parking space.
The components of SC Pools Poljud are the following sports facilities:
- Judo hall – 274.00 m2. The hall is used for judo, but can also be used for karate, taekwondo, wrestling, dance, and recreation. The hall has stands with about 150 seats, and competitions can also be held.
- Polyvalent hall – 1088.00 m2. The hall is used for volleyball, handball and futsal. The hall has stands with about 330 seats and various competitions and events can be held.
- Gymnastics hall – 439.00 m2. The hall is specialized for gymnastics. The hall has stands with about 190 seats.
- Wrestling hall – 146.00 m2. The hall is used for wrestling and dance.
- Boxing hall – 189.00 m2. The hall has a boxing ring and is used for boxing and kickboxing.
- Bowling alley – 439.00 m2. Specialized for bowling – six-lane. It has a spectator area with about 50 seats.
- Fencing – 310.00 m2. The space is adapted for fencing training.
- Olympic pool – 200.00 m2. It is used for swimming, water polo, synchronized swimming, and diving. The pool has stands for about 2000 spectators.
- Water polo pool – 955.00 m2. It is used for swimming, water polo, synchronized swimming, and diving. The pool has stands with about 650 seats.
- Pool for non-swimmers – 270.00 m2. It is used for training non-swimmers.
- Outdoor pool with a diving board – 932.00 m2. It is used for swimming, water polo, synchronized swimming, diving, and diving into the water. In the winter months, the pool is covered with a balloon, so it is not possible to use the diving board, but during that period it is used for the service “Swimming for Residents” and also swimming and water polo training.
